Retouching and clipping with no manual exchange

On a packshot project, the approved image is not the final image: it goes to a supplier to be clipped or retouched, comes back, and has to be approved again. Alpha studio automates that round trip, supplier included, without a single file transfer done by hand.

The supplier inside the circuit, not beside it

Dispatch triggered by approval

As soon as an image is approved, it leaves for the supplier configured for the project. No manual transfer, no file-sharing link.

Clipping, retouching, colour

The circuit applies to any outsourced treatment: cut-out on white, beauty retouching, colour harmonisation, drop shadows.

Returns attached automatically

The processed file comes back and files itself on the original slot, as a new version — the original stays intact.

Treatment approval

The retouched file goes through approval in turn: before and after are compared with the version comparator.

Several suppliers per project

One supplier for clipping, another for high-end retouching: each circuit is configured independently.

Measured lead times

Time spent at the supplier is measured like any other step of the project.

A round trip that is fully traced

Shot approval

The raw image is approved by the client: it is cleared for treatment.

Automatic dispatch

The HD file leaves for the supplier through the configured channel, together with the technical instruction from the Road Book.

The processed file returns

The supplier uploads the finished file. The name is checked and the version is created on the right slot.

Treatment approval, then delivery

Once the treatment is approved, the final file leaves for delivery through the project's circuit.

Essential as soon as a third party touches your files

  • Packshot studios — hundreds of cut-outs per campaign, without handling a single dispatch.
  • Retail & e-commerce — consistent clipping quality across the whole catalogue, whoever the supplier is.
  • Publishers & pre-press — the circuit extends all the way into the graphic chain.
  • Agencies — treatments are invoiced on measured facts, not on declarations.
  • Suppliers themselves — a clear work queue and a written instruction for every file.
