From brief to final approval

Three principles that decide what a visual platform is really worth day to day — everything else builds on them.

A workflow that follows your rules

Single approval, technical and artistic double review, arbitration, reinstatement, a round trip through a supplier: you compose the path, the platform enforces it.

One single repository

One product record, all its references, its visuals and its stock. Fed by your ERP or by import, it serves the studio and the warehouse alike.

A living media library

Whatever gets approved lands in the media library automatically, with its full history and usage rights. No more shared folder to tidy up.

Produce, approve, retrieve.

One application to commission, approve, classify and distribute every visual you own. Used by retailers, public bodies, manufacturers, agencies and studios — each switching on only the building blocks they need.

The tailor-made workflow for your projects

Photo, video, PDF, packshots: every stage is configured around the way you and your partners work. From brief to delivery, in a single application.

01
New request

Project creation

Ongoing projects appear on the dashboard. The new project holds the briefs, the sample list and the slots for every asset to be produced — images, videos or documents.

02
Briefing

Visuals, references, PDFs, notes…

At project level and for each image, you document the Road Book: photo guidelines, roughs, layouts, set plans — and even the product list for still-life shots.

03
Requests & guidelines

The production dashboard

Visual needs are expressed file by file, by proposal, or generated automatically from the product repository. The guideline for the family and the channel imposes the expected, mandatory and deliverable views.

04
Logistics

What is ready to be produced

For each photo and at project level, logistics information and real-time check-in of the samples present on set.

05
Production

Files are uploaded

Photographer, videographer, agency or design studio upload their files online, by FTP or drag and drop. Up to 99 versions per visual. The application checks the naming and assigns files automatically.

06
Validation

Annotate, approve, arbitrate

Comments placed directly on the image or on the PDF page, predefined rejection reasons, side-by-side version comparison. Single approval, double review, arbitration or reinstatement: the circuit is yours.

07
Processing

Retouching or clipping

On a packshot project, files can be handed to a provider. Alpha studio automates file exchanges and the approval of the processing.

08
Delivery

Automated HD files

As soon as final approval lands: drop on your FTP or your client's, availability for download, transfer into the media library. Your call, and with no manual step. Alerts only reach the people actually concerned.

Built for work across several companies

Brand, in-house studio, agency, photographer, retoucher, printer: each has an account, a scope and rights, on the same platform.

  • Companies and cooperations — each company gets its own space and its own file drop. You decide who cooperates with whom, and therefore who sees what.
  • Roles and rights — permissions are set per role, down to the single action: propose, approve technically, arbitrate, reinstate, remove a watermark, export.
  • Per-project accreditation — beyond roles, each project names the companies allowed to produce, to approve and to view. A supplier only sees its own work.
  • Traceability — who uploaded, who approved, when, with which comment. Every version is kept: nothing is overwritten.
  • Statistics — volumes produced, approval times, activity per user, per project and per supplier. Exportable for your business reviews.
  • Dedicated instance — each customer gets their own instance and settings: active modules, watermark, formats, vocabulary and approval circuits.

CCAPSIDESupport & maintenance

Frequently asked questions

An original web application developed by CAPSIDE, designed to let studios offer their clients remote viewing and approval of their media — photos, videos, PDFs, packshots — through a simple web browser. It is also a shared online resource centre for every stakeholder of the project.

No. Alpha studio runs in SaaS mode, available 24/7 from any web browser. Production managers, agencies, art directors, logistics teams, studio and location photographers, clipping providers and photoengravers all connect wherever they are.

A few hours. The application is configured after a scoping session covering the way you work with your photo project partners. User training then runs by role, in sessions of a few hours.

Approved is delivered. Visuals are available for download, pushed to a custom FTP account configurable in the app, sent to a remote FTP to reach a DAM, or dropped into the built-in photo library. Your choice, project by project.

All information and files are hosted in France, in an environment secured by the company ATE, with daily backups. Data processing complies with the GDPR. Access is managed by user profile — unlimited users, at no extra cost.

Alpha studio also means day-to-day service quality: user support is reachable by email and phone, and the team steps in whenever you need it. Application maintenance is included in the subscription.

Yes. Approval, the product repository, the media library and the API each work on their own. Together they remove double entry, duplicate files and the email threads asking where a visual stands — but nothing forces you to switch everything on from day one.

No. The product repository plugs into your ERP, by CSV import or by continuous feed, and carries the information needed to produce visuals and manage sample logistics. Updates respect data recency and report rejections instead of overwriting silently.

That is in fact the normal way to use it. Brand, in-house studio, agency, photographer, retoucher and printer each have their account, their scope and their file drop. You decide who cooperates with whom, and each project names the companies allowed to produce, to approve and to view.

Through the REST API: everything the interface shows is readable and writable, with filtering, sorting and pagination, interactive documentation and one key per user — revocable and bound to the same rights as the interface. Recurring exchanges — ERP feeds, FTP / SFTP drops, corporate directory, scheduled jobs — are automated.
